The MFO Force Commander, Major General Michael Garraway (Australia), and a variety of MFO personnel, both military and civilian, were pleased to welcome Ambassadors, Defense Attachés, and key Embassy staff from Israel-based Embassies to the MFO’s North Camp on July 2, 2026.
In total, 18 representatives from thirteen Supporting States including Australia, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Fiji, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States visited. They were accompanied by Mr. Thomas Goldberger, the MFO’s Representative in Israel, along with his staff, and representatives of the Israel Defense Forces.
Following a similar visit for Cairo-based Embassies in May, this engagement with Israel-based Embassies reflected the MFO’s continuing effort to ensure balanced, first-hand engagement with representatives accredited to both Treaty Parties.
The visit highlighted the capabilities and personnel that support the MFO’s Observe, Verify, and Report responsibilities, while underscoring the value of sustained Supporting State contributions to mission effectiveness, transparency, and confidence between Egypt and Israel.
The MFO remains grateful to all its Supporting States for their generous contributions and collaboration.
