From June 7 to 13, 2026, the MFO conducted a major annual collective training event designed to test and enhance operational readiness across the MFO’s Area of Operations, with particular focus on the Force Operations Center. The exercise brought together Force Headquarters, operational units, including the Coastal Patrol Unit, NorthBatt, SouthBatt, and specialized units - the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team, the Force Military Police Unit, Fire Services, and the Medical Company—for a series of realistic, live-action scenarios.
The primary objective was to demonstrate the MFO’s ability to respond to critical incidents and provide command and control. Scenarios included tactical and security challenges, critical incident management, integrated-at-sea search and rescue, the validation of force protection, and CASEVAC procedures.
Participants responded to dynamic, real-time scenarios, allowing for live assessments and the identification of potential capability gaps. The exercise concluded with an After-Action Review and Post Activity Report, ensuring lessons learned and opportunities for improvement are captured for future operations.
The event showcased the professionalism and adaptability of our personnel, reaffirming the MFO’s commitment to operational excellence and readiness.
