MFO - Multinational Force and Observers

The Director General’s Representive (DGR) is the official representative of the Director General to the Government of Egypt. His office deals with the Egyptian Government concerning areas of MFO policy and practical interest, including political and military matters, treaty issues, finance, security, utilities, customs, immigration, and press, and it conducts the MFO's day-to-day business with Government offices in Cairo. The office also maintains liaison with the local embassies of the MFO's Participating and Donor States and serves as a contact for local press. 

The DGR Office in Cairo, staffed by experienced local and international staff, procures a wide variety of goods and services in the Egyptian marketplace to meet the MFO's needs and to keep the Force in the Sinai supplied.  It manages the necessary associated transportation, warehousing, banking, and financial disbursements, and it also assists with MFO personnel and good movements through Cairo.
